Amazon sacks delivery driver after he’s caught on CCTV urinating on ‘disgusted’ customer’s garden fence after dropping off a package

- Amazon said today the unnamed contractor would no longer work for them after Mr Spoor and his wife Jackie complained
This is the moment an Amazon delivery driver is caught on a home security camera urinating on a customer’s garden fence after dropping off a package.
Homeowner Duncan Spoor, from Telford, West Midlands, told of his disgust after the driver’s conduct after he dropped off a package on Thursday while he was out.
Amazon said today they have sacked the contractor following Mr Spoor’s complaint.
In the footage, the driver of a white Mercedes van, wearing a hi-vis vest, can be seen approaching the door, carrying a parcel.

Customers Duncan Spoor and his wife Jackie, from Teflord, West Midlands, posted the video on Facebook, slamming Amazon for their service after the incident at his property
He drops it on the doorstep and wanders over to the fence, unfastening his trousers.
The driver looks around nervously over his shoulder during the deed then jumps back into his van and drives away.
Mr Spoor and his wife Jackie were aghast when they got home and checked the camera as they posted it on Facebook to share their disgust.

He posted the video with the caption: ‘Is this normal service from Amazon?
‘Unbelievable that your Amazon Delivery driver thinks its ok to urinate all up my fence and on my drive today 30/4/2020 at 14.57.
‘White Mercedes Van. Be interested to hear what Telford & Wrekin Cops have to say.
‘Get sharing everybody let’s show how disgusting this driver is.’
Jackie then wrote: ‘Please be extra careful when dealing with your amazon parcels.
‘Absolutely disgusted to have to share this video of our Amazon delivery this afternoon.
‘Not only did he not have any gloves on, he touched his privates, had no facilities to wash his hands then just got back in his van and drove off to deliver his next parcel.
‘I know that when you’ve got to go, you’ve got to go but opposite where he was parked is a lay-by that has a farm track leading off. He could have done his business there!
‘Absolutely fuming…. I feel sorry for the next person that received there parcel after us. With coronavirus so easily spread, after touching his bits, what else could he be spreading. I dread to think.’
The couple’s posts were met with agreement from friends who were equally uncomfortable with what they had seen.
Sarah Austin wrote: ‘Jesus. That’s appalling dirty sod.’
Rhiannon Ralphs added: ‘Oh my god, that is disgusting.’
And Katt Cooksey said: ‘That’s gross and to think he’ll be touching other people’s parcels.’
An Amazon spokeswoman told MailOnline: ‘This does not reflect the high standards we have for our delivery partners. The driver will no longer be delivering on behalf of Amazon.’
