A workman in his 20s has been killed and another is fighting for his life after a house roof collapsed while they were working on it.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said officers were called to Church Brow in Bolton-le-Sands following reports of a roof collapse.
Police attended shortly before 1pm today and found two men had been injured while carrying out building work, the force spokesman said.

One of the men, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the office arrived.
‘Our thoughts are very much with his family and friends at this awful time,’ a police spokesman said.
A second man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital by air ambulance for treatment.
His injuries are said to be life threatening and he remains in a ‘extremely serious condition’.
