  • The waitress revealed hilarious moment she woke up with Adidas printed on leg

A woman was left horrified when she woke up to find the word ‘Adidas’ printed on her leg after she put her leggings on without letting her fake tan dry properly first.

Dani Heath, 21, from Milton Keynes, fake tanned for the first time on Thursday using Bondi Sands Liquid Gold.

The waitress told how she had applied the mousse, which claims to give a ‘sun-kissed Australian tan every time’, shortly before 8pm – at which point she quickly put on a pair of leggings to take part in the NHS Clap For Our Carers.

Speaking to FEMAIL, Dani explained: ‘I faked tanned just before the clapping. I was unaware that my tan needed longer to dry so I just shoved on some Adidas leggings and off outside I went.’

‘I woke up the next morning and didn’t even realise until a couple of hours after that I had the huge brand logo down my leg.’

‘I shared it with my friends and family and we all found it hilarious and said it’s something that would only happen to me!’

Dani went on to admit it took up to five showers to remove the Adidas lettering from her calf, and said her friends and family found it hilarious – with her Facebook post gathering more than 5,000 likes.

‘I exfoliated it enough for it to finally fade and come off,’ she added.

Dani, who is in lockdown with her mother and two sisters, described how the Bondi Sands tan was ‘amazing’ and said she would use the product again, but ‘properly’ next time.

Speaking about her lockdown beauty regime, Dani added she is usually ‘so pale,’ and that applying the product made her ‘feel that little bit better’ while spending time at home.

She continued: ‘I just wanted to post something to make others laugh through this tough time.’

‘We are all going through a lot right now and if I could give someone a giggle for a couple minutes then I’m okay with that.’
