Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Casey Wilson stay safe with face coverings on LA set of their new series

Will Ferrell went back to work under the latest COVID-19 filming regulations this week.

The 53-year-old funnyman was spotted heading to the set of his new Apple TV+ series The Shrink Next Door.

The Old School actor was joined by his co-stars Paul Rudd and Casey Wilson as the group donned face coverings on the Los Angeles set on Monday.

The comedians played it safe when it came to taking precautions against contracting the coronavirus.

Will looked ready for the office in a white long-sleeved button-up shirt and slouchy brown slacks.

His signature curly locks were on full display while his costume was completed with brown leather loafers and a comedically small tie.

Paul and Casey looked far more casual as the pair walked to set together. The Ant-Man star wore a cozy gray hoodie and navy blue slacks, while the Happy Endings actress paired an adorable navy blue peacoat with black jeans and a dark gray t-shirt.

The 40-year-old Black Monday starlet rounded out her ensemble with a cute pair of pink and white checkered Vans slip-on sneakers.

She kept her wavy brunette tresses pinned up to avoid having them ruined by the breezy weather.

51-year-old Rudd appeared ready to start filming as he swapped the hoodie for a red blazer and blue striped tie.

The This Is 40 actor rushed across the Downtown Los Angeles streets with his iPhone in hand to get to his mark on time, never losing his protective facemask.

The eight-episode limited series will see the two actors reunite on screen for the first time since Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues in 2013.

That hit film grossed over $173 million at the worldwide box office and proved to be even more successful than its predecessor: the classic comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy in 2004, which raked in just over $90 million in ticket sales.

Both stars will also be executive producing the new comedy.

Both actors were most recently seen bringing their talents to viral Super Bowl LV commercials.

Rudd joined 34-year-old rap superstar Drake as stand-ins in a meta commercial for State Farm Insurance that also featured City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The ad opened with Rodgers, 37, and Mahomes, 25, seated in a film studio ahead of filming their State Farm ad and complaining about having stand-ins that look nothing like them.

‘Have you seen mine?’ Mahomes asked before gesturing toward Rudd, who’s wearing the same lightning-bolt shirt and holding a football.

Ferrell was showcased front and center of General Motors’ ad, promoting their new electric vehicle (EV) initiative.

After learning that Norway sells more EV’s that the United States, Ferrell rounded up fellow comedians Kenan Thompson and Awkwafina to help the cause.

‘Did you know that Norway sells way more electric cars per capita than the U.S.? Norway!’ Ferrell said with a laugh, before turning angry.

The ad ended with, ‘We’re coming Norway,’ revealing that GM is rolling out 30 new EVs by the year 2025.

Over it: Will Ferrell was sick and tired of Norway beating the United States in selling electric cars in General Motors' Super Bowl ad
