Bolt, the only sprinter to win the 100m and 200m golds at three consecutive Olympics, specifically 2008, 2012 and 2016, is widely considered the greatest sprinter of all time.

The 33-year-old new dad has been dating Bennett for five years.

Bolt already has said he would not encourage his children to follow in his footsteps.

‘That´s going to be hard for my kid. If they want to do it, I’m fine with it. But initially I’m going to say don’t do it, because I know the pressure that will come along with it,’ he said earlier this year.

An 11-time world champion, Bolt retired after the 2017 world championships in London where he suffered a hamstring injury in the final race of his career.

When Bolt shared on Instagram the first announcement that Bennet was pregnant on Jan. 23, he posted a stunning image of the 30-year-old expectant mother cradling her bump.

‘I just want to say a KING or QUEEN is about to be HERE,’ Bolt wrote in the caption.

Fans soon flooded the comments with praise and congratulations for the happy couple, while Kasi also shared news on her own page.

The mother-to-be then added captions on a series of images reading: ‘Our golden child. Coming soon… Our greatest celebration… Our biggest blessing’.

Prior to the announcement, Usain revealed hopes to have children with his longtime girlfriend ‘in the near future’, following years of enjoying a low-key romance.
