‘What have I done?’ The cringeworthy moment LEGO Masters host Hamish Blake destroys a motorbike worth $25,000 and took nine people a painstaking 135 hours to build

He may be a comedian, but no one was laughing when Hamish Blake knocked over a LEGO motorcycle worth $25,000 during Sunday’s episode of LEGO Masters.

The 38-year-old host was inspecting the impressive motorbike when he knocked it over, causing it to smash into pieces.

Brickman (real name Ryan McNaught) had just finished explaining that the bike was made up of 75,000 bricks, which took a team of nine people, including himself, a painstaking 135 hours to build it.

‘It really comes down to details,’ he explained, pointing out the work that went into recreating a motorcycle.

‘Permission to approach?’ a cautious Hamish asked Brickman, before adding, ‘Permission to touch one bit?’

Brickman told Hamish he was allowed to touch the bike as long as he did it ‘very carefully’.

As he showed off the movable brake levers, the show’s awed contestants all gasped as Hamish told them they’d be able to have a closer look in just a moment.

He then leant over the motorcycle to inspect the suspension, causing the bike to topple over and smash into pieces.

The shocked contestants began to scream, as a helpless Hamish stepped back with his hands in the air.

‘What have I done?’ Hamish whispered, as Brickman stood behind him looking shocked.

The comedian then shot the camera a devious look, before revealing it was all part of a challenge called ‘smash and grab’.

He then explained that the Brick Pit was closed, and the only LEGO the contestants had to work with were the pieces lying spread out on the floor.
