This is the terrifying moment a bus crashes into a tree on a residential street leaving two passengers injured.

While the number 88 Stagecoach bus is driving along a residential street on its route, it veers to the left and rams into a tree.

Two passengers were left injured in the crash, which happened at 1.40pm and left the vehicle completely damaged.
The impact of the collision dented the front of the bus, and entire top front window shatters causing a panel of glass to come crashing onto the road.
The glass double doors at the front of the bus smashed in the collision and are sitting crooked on their hinges, hanging out of the vehicle.

Phil Medlicott, managing director of the bus operator Stagecoach Yorkshire said two passengers had been treated for minor injuries.
He added that an investigation was underway.
Mr Medlicott said: ‘Incidents like this are thankfully rare, but we take them very seriously if they do happen.
‘Safety is our absolute priority and we will be carrying out a thorough internal investigation into the circumstances.’
