Spare a thought for Richard Madeley and his wife Judy Finnigan who are stranded in the United States after Donald Trump introduced a flight ban.

The former This Morning presenters were on holiday but now find themselves stuck on the other side of the Atlantic for the foreseeable future. 

‘They are being as stoic and upbeat as can be and figuring things out one day at a time, just like the rest of the country,’ their son Jack tells me.
