Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik looked every bit the loved up couple on Wednesday celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Royal Yacht Dannebrog.
The pair were spotted walking towards the Port of Copenhagen to board the ship affectionately speaking with hands outstretched before the mother-of-four grasped her husband’s military coat in an embrace for official photographs.
The Australian-born royal was wearing a fitted navy dress with white pleats and matching navy heels, her hair pulled back into a low ponytail that showed off her striking makeup look.

Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte were also in attendance on Wednesday afternoon, with the former wearing the colours of the Danish royal flag.
The Royal Yacht Dannebrog serves as the official and private residence for the Queen and other members of the royal family when they take summer cruises in Danish waters or make official visits to other countries.
The Royal Yacht Dannebrog was named by Queen Alexandrine in Copenhagen in 1931 and hoisted its flag for the first time on May 26, 1932.

They maintained a long-distance relationship for a year, with Frederik making secret trips Down Under before Mary moved to Denmark to study Danish language at Copenhagen’s Studieskolen in 2001.
In early 2003, Frederik’s mother Queen Margrethe publicly acknowledged the relationship and the couple announced their engagement at Amalienborg Castle later that year on October 8.

Frederik and Mary married on May 14, 2004 at Copenhagen Cathedral, with the newly minted Crown Princess opting for a beautiful gown by Danish designer Uffer Frank and a veil first used by Crown Princess Margaret of Sweden in 1905.
Their first child, Prince Christian Valdemar Henri John, was born October 15, 2005; Princess Isabella Henrietta Ingrid Margrethe followed on April 21, 2007.
Almost four years later Mary and Frederik welcomed twins, Princess Josephine Sophia Ivalo Mathilda and Prince Vincent Frederik Minik Alexander at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen on January 8, 2011.
