Former My Kitchen Rules judge Pete Evans has reportedly claimed that his teenage daughters won’t rebel because they have a ‘good diet’.

According to news.com.au, the 47-year-old made the comment to a Channel Seven makeup artist while she was preparing him for an interview.

When the makeup artist joked that teenage girls can be ‘challenging’ around that age, Pete allegedly responded: ‘Not if they have a good diet.’

He added: ‘My daughters eat well so we don’t have those problems.’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Pete Evans for comment.

This isn’t the first time that the celebrity chef has advocated a health-first approach to raising his daughters, Chilli, 15, and Indii, 12.

During an appearance on the Balls Deep podcast in 2018, Pete revealed that he’s had his eldest daughter in Neuro-Emotional Technique therapy since she was 12 months old. 

According to Innovative Medicine, the therapy is psycho-emotional and is based on the foundations of stress-related responses.

‘It’s something I do with the kids from time to time ever since they were basically one-year-old,’ he explained.

‘It’s just like taking your car in to get serviced. Some people, like myself, like to take our minds or brains in to get emotional work and releasing done to help navigate this world that we live in.’

It was recently confirmed that MKR judge Evans had departed Seven. The chef came to a ‘mutual’ and ‘amicable’ decision to leave the network.

He is understood to be happy with his newfound independence and reportedly plans to expand his ‘alternative lifestyle empire’ by marketing books, documentaries and other merchandise.
