Netflix viewers have heaped praise on horror film Girl on the Third Floor, with some hailing it as one of the scariest movies they’ve ever seen.
The critically-acclaimed thriller, which was released in March 2019, is now available on the popular streaming site for British fans and it’s left audiences at home terrified.
It centres on a man called Don Koch (played by wrestler CM Punk, real name Phillip Brooks) trying to renovate a rundown Victorian mansion for his family in a bid to distant himself from his sordid past.
But of course, the home – a former brothel – in the suburbs of Chicago, has a terrifying history of its own and deadly consequences occur when the characters try to go against the supernatural building.
Shocking scenes see the home excreting what appear to be bodily fluids from the wall, while some parts of the structure even start bleeding when touched.
Taking to Twitter, fans were eager to express their excitement for the film, admitting it was ‘mentally disturbing’ and ‘horrifying’.

However, it wasn’t all rave reviews for the film, as some suggested it wasn’t as scary as others claimed.
One person wrote: ‘Don’t waste your time watching Girl On The Third Floor on Netflix. It absolutely sucks.’
Another said: ‘If you have Netflix, don’t bother watching Girl On The Third Floor. It’s easily the worst movie I’ve ever seen. The writing to the acting was terrible and I didn’t understand the plot very well?’
