A video has emerged of a scuffle between hikers queuing to reach the summit of Wales’ highest mountain.
The footage shows two men appearing to clash at the top of Snowdon, which stands 1,085 metres above sea level.
One man wearing an orange hi-vis jacket is seen climbing to the summit, appearing skip past a queue of people waiting to take their photographs.
As he does, other hikers can be heard chanting ‘join the queue, join the queue.’

The video, posted on social media over the Bank Holiday, has sparked a comical reaction from social media users.
One said: ‘Brilliant. What could be more British than fighting about queuing 1km up on August Bank Holiday weekend?’
Another said: ‘Unbelievable seeing queues to the Snowdon summit!
‘The few times I’ve been up there I’ve just basically walked straight to the summit.
‘The level of tourism here is huge now – that’s why I stay home during peak seasons!’
Another said, it’s been coming for a few years now, but Snowdon really has become the Wetherspoons of the hiking world…’
On Twitter user, who posted a picture on the same day as the scuffle, compared the queues at the summit to those ‘in Asda’.
Another added: ‘So people were fighting at Snowdon summit because someone decided they wouldn’t queue…’
Around 360,000 walkers are said to to climb to the summit of Snowdon every year.
On a clear day at the summit of the mountain, in Snowdononia National Park, north Walkes, hikers can enjoy expansive views of Britain.
It takes around six to eight hours to get to the summit and back.
There are six recommended paths, with the nine mile Llanberis Path the most popular among those wanting to reach the summit for the first time.
Though the path is the longest route, it provides a gradual climb up to the summit.
