A man has been charged with the murder of a 77-year-old woman who was found dead at home.
Michael Robinson, 35, is accusing of killing the victim who has been named as Carol Hart.
The suspect, of Bideford, Devon, is due to appear before Barnstaple Magistrates’ Court today.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 11.40am on Monday, January 11
He was arrested after emergency services were called to a property in JH Taylor Drive in the town at around 11.40am on Monday, January 11.
Mrs Hart was confirmed dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘Michael Robinson is charged with the murder of 77-year-old Carol Hart.
‘Emergency services were called to a property in J.H. Taylor Drive at around 11.40am on Monday 11 January.
‘Mrs Hart was confirmed as deceased at the scene.
‘An enquiry was launched by Devon and Cornwall Police’s Major Crime Investigation team.
‘Mrs Hart’s family are being supported by specialist officers.’
