Louis Vuitton has launched a designer gym equipment range – and it comes with a very hefty price tag. 

While the French Fashion house may be renowned for its bags and purses complete with the LV logo, they have now unveiled a new line of fitness gear – including a set of two 3kg dumbbells retailing at £1, 730, and other essential workout equipment – such as skipping ropes and ping pong bats.

The online description says the dumbbells, which have already sold out online, have a ‘striking aesthetic and sporty appeal.’

It continues they are an ‘an ideal gift for those who wish to exercise in style’ and feature ‘exclusive Louis Vuitton details.’

But if you’re more of a cardio lover than a weight lifter, the high-end fashion brand have your needs covered, too. 

The fashion house claims to have put a ‘new spin’ on the £425 skipping rope, which also appears to be sold out, and boasts a leather strand and handles covered with dark, masculine Monogram Eclipse canvas.

And with the nation in lockdown, people are vying to find new activities to try to pass the time – so why not a bit of ping pong?  

A set of two ‘professionally designed’ ping-pong paddles, which will set fitness fanatics back £1450, feature a custom holder for regulation balls.

They also come with an exclusive cover crafted of masculine Monogram Eclipse canvas, accented with an LV Circle medal.

Elsewhere, the fashion brand are also selling a £1, 730 monogram volleyball, which creates a ‘playful spin’ on the characteristic Louis Vuitton Monogram, along with a golf kit which features three balls and four tees, and costs £555.

The only product description reads: ‘The Andrews golf kit echoes the prestige of the world-renowned golf club at the University of St Andrews.’

‘Including three golf balls and four tees, it features a metal hook for effortless transportation and bold contrast trims. This set is impeccably constructed from Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas.’
