Lauren Goodger shares rare photos of her parents on Instagram  

Her Instagram page is normally full of racy selfies and glam shoots.

But Lauren Goodger was taking a trip down memory lane on Sunday as she shared some sweet childhood photos on her Stories.

The former TOWIE star shared a glam shot of her mother from the 1980s, before sharing another photo of her dad, with little Lauren as a bridesmaid.

The sweet father daughter photo shows Lauren in a pretty pink dress and flower garland with her dad standing behind her.

The star simply captioned the family photo ‘daddy’ with a purple heart emoji.

Lauren also posted a photo of her mum modelling for the camera in a white t-shirt and jeans, which she captioned ‘Mummy, The 80s.’

Lauren has previously opened up about her difficult relationship with her mother Cheryl, fighting back tears during an episode of Celebs Go Dating last year. 

The reality star, 33, grew emotional as she was asked about her past, revealing that her mother had given her away when she was just four years old due to postnatal depression.

The TOWIE star went on to confess that she thinks these deep rooted feelings of rejection has resulted in her dating the wrong type of men and remaining in toxic relationships.

Lauren – who is is one of seven children, with four sisters and two brothers – explained: ‘My family are from East London. When I was four my mum gave me to my dad but kept my older brother and sister.

‘She said she couldn’t cope with three on her own. For me that was heartbreaking.’

The star then revealed how this had impacted her relationships. 

Lauren revealed: ‘I can only think that I’ve been rejected. That’s why I stay in these long relationships when I shouldn’t, and however much they put me through, I still stay there for a long time.’
