Joe Wicks dotes on daughter Indie and son Marley in adorable fancy dress snap

On Thursday he revealed that he plans to add to his brood with wife Rosie, 29.

And Joe Wicks was the picture of a doting dad on Friday as he shared a sweet snap alongside daughter Indie, 22 months, and son Marley, six months, on Instagram.

The Body Coach star, 34, and his little ones were in fancy dress for the adorable picture, as he wore a Kangaroo costume for his online PE class.

Indie was dressed up in a Wonder Woman costume which was designed to look like the superhero’s classic outfit, rather than Gal Gadot’s modern iteration of the character.

Meanwhile, Marley looked sweet in his Batman costume which was modelled around Adam West’s iconic batsuit, and he held his arms in the air to look like he was flying.

Doting on his little ones, Joe wrapped his arms tightly around Marley as Indie sat on his lap for the family photo.

His family photo comes after Joe said wanted to expand his brood while reflecting on the challenges of raising ‘two under two’ in a candid interview on Loose Women.

He said: ‘I do want a big family. I tell you what though, the reality when you have two kids and you realise how challenging it is.

‘I do respect and admire people who have five, six, seven kids – I think, “How do they do it?” Not at the moment, but definitely in the future we’ll be having more kids together. Rosie is up for it.

‘She loves being a mum. She’s said she’s always wanted a big family. I do like the chaos.

‘This is the only room in the house that is clean and tidy. Everything else is chaos, there’s toys everywhere! This is my studio. But we will have a big family in the future.’

Discussing the phenomenal success of his PE With Joe workouts online, he said: ‘I had no idea [what the reaction would be].

‘I’ve done a lot of YouTube workouts before, I’ve done a lot of live tours, I’ve visited schools in the UK. I had a feeling a lot of people in the UK would get involved but not to the extent.. it’s been a global thing… different time zones all over the world!’

Joe hopes his workouts will continue beyond lockdown, saying: ’12 weeks of PE with Joe, I really love it. I’m getting families, probably for the first time ever, exercising in front of their kids. I hope the legacy lives on beyond lockdown.’

Since launching his daily P.E classes, Joe has raised over £500,000 for the NHS through YouTube advert revenue.

And the Body Coach star has revealed he wanted to donate all the money as it felt wrong to benefit of something he set up to help people.

He said: While speaking of expanding his brood Joe added: 'I do want a big family. I tell you what though, the reality when you have two kids and you realise how challenging it is'

It is this ethos that meant he also turned down offers from the BBC and Channel 4 as he feels streaming through YouTube ‘reaches more people.’

The star revealed he was turned down by Channel 4 earlier in life when he approached them to do a show.

He told Men’s Health: ‘Fast forward to now, I’ve got Channel 4 asking me to stream these PE workouts live. I’ve got the BBC asking me to sign a contract. All these channels are now coming to me, and I’ve said, “Look, I want to do this on YouTube. I’m reaching more people. Why would I want to do it with you?”‘

The fitness guru also shared that he was blown away by all the money he made but he never intended on profiting from this.

He continued: ‘We didn’t even consider it when we set out, which is why we quickly decided to donate that money to the NHS. It’s a phenomenal amount of money and it just felt right, seeing as it was the community that built it. I didn’t want people to think for a second that I had the intention of financially benefiting from any of this.’

Throughout the pandemic Joe has consistently exercised to prevent him from getting ‘stressed.’

He told the magazine: ‘If I’m stressed from dealing with two screaming babies, I have to exercise, because it brings me back down a peg. It also gives me energy and boosts my mood. No HIIT, though – it’s all low intensity. I might do 20 minutes on the bike, maybe a few weights.’
