In his latest video to Instagram, Jamie enlisted the help of Buddy and Petal to reveal his one-minute frozen yoghurt recipe, using just two ingredients in one minute.
Sharing the video, which racked up over 1.6 million views and was praised by hundreds including Fearne Cotton and Matt Baker, Jamie wrote: ‘Buddy and Petal have a new recipe for you all!
‘Banana FRO-YO! So many of you have been asking for more recipes from Buddy so give this one a go with the kids and dont forget to share your pictures and videos using& tag me in!
‘Get cracking with it this morning so you can enjoy this delicious delight this afternoon in the sunshine. All you need is bananas, lime and yoghurt! Then serve up as you like!’.
The video sees Buddy taking centre stage with Petal as his helper, as they begin by carefully slicing up bananas, and advising to have a parent present
The recipe includes two ripe bananas, three tablespoons of natural yoghurt and a lime. ‘Today, we’re going to show you how to make delicious homemade ice cream in one minute’, the children sweetly chime
After cutting up the peeled bananas, Buddy then slices a ripe lime in half, explaining that children should be supervised and used the ‘bridge method’ – holding the outside edges with the forefinger and thumb while cutting down the centre

The children then cover the banana chunks in lime juice, and put them in a ziploc bag to freeze for half a day
The children then add three large tablespoons of yoghurt, before turning on the blender again
They then fill a cone (specifiying that it can also be a bowl) with spoonfulls of the mixture, with Petal adding: ‘Remember to do this quickly before it melts’
