Jai is also gearing up to reprise his role as Captain Boomerang in the hotly anticipated Suicide Squad sequel, which is scheduled to hit theaters in August.

Speaking with Collider in April last year, Jai drummed up excitement for the film, when he revealed: ‘I got sent the script, and it’s just a really great [script], I was surprised by everything [in it].’

Jai will be rejoined by fellow Australian star Margot Robbie and English actor Idris Elba in the James Gunn-directed flick.
