The Queen has led the well-wishes to Princess Eugenie on her 30th birthday today.
The Royal Family Instagram account shared a photo of the Queen, 93, and her granddaughter smiling together on Maundy Thursday in April last year.
The accompanying caption paid tribute to Eugenie, who is the youngest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York and the Queen’s sixth grandchild.

Meanwhile Ellie Goulding’s art dealer husband Caspar Jopling, 28, called the princess a ‘ray of sunshine’ in a sweet Instagram story celebrating the occasion.
Mr Jopling shared three candid snaps of the royal, including one of her beaming with close friend Ellie, 33.
Another snap shows the princess preparing to make an address at Ellie and Caspar’s wedding in York in August last year.

Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank attended the star-studded affair with Princess Beatrice and her fiance Edo Mapelli Mozzi.
Yesterday Princess Eugenie paid tribute to Sarah Ferguson with a sweet post marking Mother’s Day.
She has also been outspoken in her support of NHS staff and other essential workers who are continuing to keep the country running during the coronavirus pandemic.
Taking to Instagram yesterday, Eugenie shared a series of feel-good posts shedding light on the human kindness that has been shown amid the struggles of the outbreak.
Caspar also said he is looking forward to celebrating with Eugenie, while sharing this pretty photo taken at he and Ellie’s wedding in August last year
