The UK faces much-needed warm and lovely sunny weather fit for beach and country strolls this weekend after a -6C chill tonight, as the country sinks into a gloom amid the raging coronavirus crisis. 

Parts of Britain will experience plenty of sunshine tomorrow after temperatures plunge to freezing and below in rural areas, with today’s showers in Scotland and the North West continuing and frosting over. 

The Met Office is predicting ‘mostly fine and dry’ weather for Britain, which is hurrying to come to terms with sweeping changes are people are instructed to avoid public spaces and self-isolate if displaying flu symptoms.

After successive weeks of horrendous stormy weather which left countless rural communities underwater, multiple riverbanks burst, and many people homeless, Britons can enjoy the coming of Spring. 

Although the southern counties will have some cloudy skies and rainfall today, the weather will get brighter up in the North East and Yorkshire, the North West, Northern Ireland, and the Scottish Lowlands and Highlands. 

Tomorrow, forecasters are expecting clear skies and sunny weather, though there will be chilly winds. Much of the uK will remain bright and crisp going into Sunday, according to BBC Weather.
