PC Chris Burgess said: ‘We and the families of the boys are very worried for their welfare and would like to hear from anyone who has any information about their whereabouts.

‘It is possible they are in Birmingham so we are sharing this appeal with our colleagues at West Midlands Police and with British Transport Police officers.

‘We would also directly ask the boys to please get in touch, even if just with their families. You aren’t in any trouble and your parents are very worried about you.’
