Depop users have been sharing the latest bizarre private messages received on the popular selling site including one buyer who asked another user to help catch her cheating boyfriend.
Social media account Depop Drama, which now has 556,000 followers, has been collecting screenshots of the weirdest conversations that have taken place on the London-based clothing resale app.
The gallery includes one buyer who asked for a discount because her nan ‘died at the weekend’ and another who launched into a furious tirade after users liked their items without making an offer.
The social shopping app, which launched in 2011, has more than 13 million members trying to buy and sell clothes and accessories, and is not associated with the account.

The recipient helpfully obliges, only to break the bad news just minutes later by offering to send incriminating screenshots of the exchange she had with the man in question.
Meanwhile, one shrewd buyer who was not fooled by an obvious DIY decoration being sold as a Dior bag on the site and raised her query with the seller.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic did not go unmentioned in the exchanges either as one seller was candidly honest about catching the virus.
They wrote: ‘I’m gonna be real with you, I tested positive for ‘rona so be careful when the package arrives.
‘I think virus can only survive 48 hours so should be OK but I sent it 1st class.’

The anonymous founder of @DepopDrama told Dazed last year: ‘I started getting these crazy messages from people and ended up screenshotting them and sending them to my mates. Before I knew it, I had a bit of an archive of images of all these messages.’
‘There are literally no boundaries. People are ruthless and they just don’t care.’
They added: ‘People are behind a screen, and kind of know that they’re never going to meet the person on the other end of the messages,’ the user of five years added.’
However, while some of it can seem like fun and games, the owner of @DepopDrama said that ‘seventy to eighty per cent’ of the screenshots they receive are from women having men sexually harassing them via private message.
The owner said that with more than 250 submissions coming in a week, only 10 per cent make it onto the grid.
