Christian Dior has launched an ‘essential’ £1,250 satchel for children going back to school.
The fashion house advertised the new product, labelled ‘school backpack’, on its website as part of its kids’ fashion range.
It suggests pairing the item with a £560 cotton and cashmere knit dress, £440 combat boots and a messenger bag priced from £1,350.

The satchel has a blue nylon canvas body, two metal buckles, a Dior Oblique canvas flap and a calfskin handle.
Made in Italy, the item has one front pocket, two interior compartments and a zip pocket inside.
The luxury brand said the backpack is an ‘essential’ for the start of school and adds ‘timeless charm’ to school outfits.
