Charmed actress Alyssa Milano gatecrashes Jade Thirwall’s TV show and surprises Alyssa Edwards

Charmed actress Alyssa Milano surprised drag queen Alyssa Edwards with an unexpected appearance in the middle of Little Mix’s Jade Thirwall’s new TV show.

The pop star’s new MTV show, which aired its first episode on Monday night, sees Jade, 27, joined by different stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race who engage in a cook-off that is judged by her own mother, Norma.

In Monday night’s episode the singer was joined by Alyssa Edwards, who chose her drag queen name in honour of Charmed actress Alyssa Milano.

The challenge for the first episode was an 80s themed cooking challenge.

However, halfway through the task Jade asked: ‘Now Alyssa, I have got a very special surprise for you, are you ready for our special guest?’

Once the Charmed star, 47, appeared on screen, Edwards started screaming and told her: ‘I am such a huge fan of yours, when I started doing drag, I didn’t have a drag name and I chose Alyssa because I wanted to be just like you’.

Jade’s TV show, Served! With Jade Thirwall, launched online in May, but aired its first television episode tonight and will continue to release episodes every Monday at 8.30pm.

In her last online episode she transformed herself into iconic drag queen Jodie Harsh, donning a giant wig and dramatic make-up for a new episode of MTV’s Served!

The online series celebrates Global Pride and sees Jade competing with celebrity drag queens to cook a themed dinner from a package of mystery ingredients.

On Thursday, Jade looked incredible wearing Jodie’s famous wig and Versace as they pinned food to a polystyrene head in competition with one another.

She shared a few pictures on Instagram and wrote: ‘On this week’s episode of Served! Meet long lost sister of Jodie Harsh…Jadie Rude.

‘I’m decorating wig heads with the iconic @jodieharsh Me mam @normathirlwallreal will be judging our creations and @thereallukeevans stops by for a chat ✨

‘Have a gander on YouTube and Facebook if, like me, ya gagging for it.’

Jade’s mother Norma joined them on their video call, donning various different wigs while paying homage to Jodie.

‘You’d better slay in the kitchen,’ Norma said. ‘This week’s theme is hair, hair, all the hair.’

First off, Jade and Jodie made Bloody Mary’s but sadly they were not to Jade’s liking and she gagged over the sink.

‘Oh, it stinks, she roared, spitting it out.

While making their food heads, actor Luke Evans came on the call – he has been living in Florida during lockdown.

He said that he is working on another Disney project which further examines his Beauty And The Beast character, Gaston.

Jade also made a joke about a lack of loving in lockdown and said: ‘Any hole’s a goal.

Jade continued to gag as she made a wig out of parma ham but it was Jodie’s Julius Caesar salad head that won the day.

Jade had asked her mother: ‘Do you want to judge the heads’ and she replied: ‘I certainly do’ before falling about laughing.
