A ‘brilliant’ young mother of twins was found dead by her heartbroken boyfriend just two days after Christmas.

The body of Silhesha Sunderland, 22, was discovered by her partner Marc Stott on December 27 at their home in Bolton, Gtr Manchester.

Marc found her in the morning and her family do not yet know how she died, but they fear she may have got up in the night to go to the toilet and collapsed.

Silhesha was described as a ‘brilliant mother’ to two-and-a-half year old twins Aliyah and Hugo and a ‘kind-hearted girl’ who was ‘one of a kind’.

Heartbroken mother Vicky said: ‘We don’t know how she died yet and we are just waiting on the coroner’s report.

‘Her boyfriend found her in the morning and tried to resuscitate her. She must have got up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet and collapsed.

‘I am so broken I don’t know how I can carry on but I know I’ve got to be strong for my grandchildren.’

Vicky said Silhesha had only recently moved to her new home and had been settling in, enjoying decorating and organising her new house before tragedy struck.

She added: ‘She was just so happy. She has twins who are two-and-a-half-year-old – Hugo and Aliyah – and she was a brilliant mother to them.

‘She spoilt them rotten and she was such a kind-hearted girl.’

In a heartbreaking tribute, her friend Abby Holt said: ‘We have known each other all our lives. There’s no words to describe Silhesha, she was a one of a kind.

‘If you needed something she would be there and if you needed someone to speak to, she was there.

‘She would always make anyone laugh, no matter what the situation and when she walked into the room everyone’s face lit up.

‘She was absolutely amazing, you’ll never get another like her.’

Georgia Ashmore, who set up a JustGiving page to help the family with funeral costs, said Silhesha was ‘loved by everyone.’

She added: ‘I met Silhesha in 2013 and we became the best of friends around three years ago and were inseparable.

‘She was the most kind-hearted, caring, beautiful human being I have ever come across. She made an impact on everyone she met.

‘Silhesha was the best mummy to her twins and she loved Marc with every bone in her body. She is so loved by everyone and will be truly missed by us all.’

Vicky said the huge outpouring of tributes has been ‘lovely’ and that people had shared their cherished memories of Silhesha.

The JustGiving page has currently raised more than £6,000 of a £7,000 target in just two days of being active.

Georgia added: ‘We just want to raise as much as possible to give Silhesha the send off she deserves and to help Marc and those beautiful babies.’
