Breath-taking moment RAF’s elite Red Arrows display team perform loop manoeuvre during training flight over Lincolnshire countryside

Aerial footage shows the Red Arrows performing an impressive manoeuvre over the Lincolnshire countryside. 

The video, posted on social media this evening, shows Squadron leader Adam Collins, Supervisor of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, flying alongside the elite crew near their base in RAF Scampton.

Team photographer Corporal Adam Fletcher captured the impressive moment they execute the Arrival Loop, where the aircraft rise up into the sky and fly in a circle, with red, white and blue smoke billowing behind.

Sqn Ldr Collins, known as Red 10, said it was a ‘great day for the first aerobatic photo-chase of 2020!’

The Red Arrows have been continuing their training despite many air shows being cancelled this summer due to the coronavirus outbreak.

No date has been set yet for the airshows to return.

Social media users heaped praise on the RAF team’s abilities.
