He didn’t even win the show, but Kieran Davidson has left Big Brother $15,000 richer.

On Wednesday’s episode, he proved exactly why he’s known as this season’s ‘mastermind’ by stealing thousands from the winner’s prize fund.

The 21-year-old YouTuber pocketed a total of $15,344 during a shock stand-off in the White Room with fellow evictee Sophie Budack.

Host Sonia Kruger tempted Kieran and Sophie with a rising money counter, and said whoever pressed the buzzer could leave the competition with that amount.

‘I just won $15,000 of the grand prize total and I couldn’t be happier!’ Kieran said after pressing the red button just before the timer ran out.

‘You thought you could get rid of me at the first eviction, and you failed! Then you failed another six times, and now I’m leaving on my own terms… and I’ve just stolen $15,000,’ he laughed while leaving the compound.

‘My message for the housemates is don’t underestimate the underdog,’ Kieran said.

Meanwhile, Sophie returned to the house with revenge on her mind – and some of the other housemates weren’t happy to see her.

She was greeted warmly by her boyfriend, Chad Hurst, and pal Sarah McDougal, but ‘alphas’ Mat Garrick and Daniel Gorringe were furious.

The two men stormed off to the diary room in protest.
