Big Brother EXCLUSIVE: Experts were forced to intervene with Kieran Davidson in White Room

Kieran Davidson has admitted he lost touch with reality while locked up alone in Big Brother’s White Room for 36 hours.

And in an interview with Daily Mail Australia, he confirmed that producers had to intervene at one stage after he exhibited worrying behaviour.

The secret room and its contents were entirely white, and there were no windows or outside stimuli, which made for a truly maddening combination.

Big Brother EXCLUSIVE: Producers were forced to intervene when Kieran Davidson ‘lost his mind’ in the White Room and unknowingly exercised for FIVE HOURS

On Tuesday and Wednesday’s episodes, Kieran was shown pacing the room, singing to himself, rambling, juggling and exercising.

To pass the time, he began doing a simple cardio routine that he’d picked up from evicted housemate Soobong Hwang.

But the show’s wellness expert was forced to step in when he unknowingly exercised for five hours straight.

‘Big Brother said he had been asked to check on me to see if I was feeling alright, and I told him I was fine exercising,’ Kieran explained.

‘I said, “Yeah I’ve been exercising for about a half hour”, and he goes, “Kieran, you’ve been doing Soobong’s exercise for two hours and 45 minutes.” I’d been walking on the spot for almost three hours! I was going mental.’

On another occasion, he performed an exercise routine with a chair placed over his back, which he thought took 10 minutes, but actually went on for two hours.

‘All up on my own I did five hours’ worth of exercise,’ Kieran admitted.

The show’s wellness supervisor was so concerned about Kieran that she told him he could ‘press the red button’ if he ever wanted to leave.

Fortunately for Kieran, his ‘sanity kicked back in’ after 36 hours alone in the chamber when Sophie Budack arrived.

On Wednesday’s episode, the 21-year-old YouTuber stole $15,344 from the winner’s prize fund during a stand-off in the White Room with fellow evictee Sophie.

Host Sonia Kruger tempted both Kieran and Sophie with a rising money counter, and said whoever pressed the buzzer could leave the competition with that amount.

‘I just won $15,000 of the grand prize total and I couldn’t be happier!’ Kieran said after pressing the red button just before the timer ran out.

‘You thought you could get rid of me at the first eviction, and you failed! Then you failed another six times, and now I’m leaving on my own terms… and I’ve just stolen $15,000,’ he laughed while leaving the compound.

Kieran told Daily Mail Australia he intends to use the money to upgrade his camera equipment as a videographer.

The remaining housemates, including reinstated evictee Sophie, are now competing for a reduced prize of $234,656.

Australia will decide who wins by voting for one of three remaining contestants during the live finale next week.
