Claire Danes definitely had one stylish night on the town.

The actress, 40, rubbed shoulders with the fashion elite as she attended a party thrown in her honor by Town & Country Magazine on Wednesday night.

Claire, who currently graces this month’s cover of the magazine, was looking picture perfect in a chic black-and-white dress as she posed up with fashion designer Zac Posen inside the Sant Ambroeus West Village in New York City.

Even while standing beside the designer, Claire shone through as she showed off her own style prowess.

There was no need for Claire to feel nervous around the designer, however, as the pair have been friends for many years, with Zac even interviewing her for this month’s issue of Town & Country.

Claire was looking fabulous that night rocking a strappy pair of black high heels whilst carrying a matching clutch.

She wore her short blonde hair down in loose waves, and used a dash of makeup to compliment her radiant features.

Elsewhere in the bash, Claire’s husband Hugh Dancy was looking dapper in a sharp suit with slicked back hairstyle.

Wednesday night’s bash was all about Claire and the final season of her hit Showtime series, Homeland, which will be coming to an end this year after nearly a decade on television.

Claire said the end of the long-time series won’t really hit her for another six months, when she would ordinarily be filming a new season.

‘I think it will really catch up with me in another six months, when I would have been returning to film the next season,’ she explained to Zac during their interview.

The pair also reflected fondly on the blue gown Zac designed for her for the 2016 Met Gala, where Claire was helped out in the bathroom by none other than Uma Thurman.

‘You were a really good sport. That dress was heavy,’ Zac remarked.

‘I was careful not to imbibe any liquids, because the bathroom situation was not easy. I remember I went in there before it was too crowded, and Uma Thurman was in the bathroom and she helped me,’ she said.

The final season of Homeland will officially come to a close on April 26, 2020.
