Who is Francesca Packer’s new boyfriend Adam Cooper? The British personal trainer was engaged

Francesca Packer Barham went public with her new boyfriend, Adam Cooper, on Sunday, as the pair packed on the PDA during a stroll in Double Bay. 

The British personal trainer is the Head of Training at Performance Vive Active, which has studios in Double Bay and Brookvale.

He is also a Reformer Pilates trainer, with a career in the health and fitness industry that spans over a decade. 

The muscular hunk has been employed at a series of gyms and health clubs in both the UK and Australia, working his way up from a sales position at Fitness First UK in High Wycombe, Northwest of London, in 2010. 

He went on to land a series of studio management roles in gyms around Britain, working at Virgin Active and Ten Health & Fitness before making a move from London to Australia.   

He landed a gig as a Studio Manager and Reformer Pilates Teacher at Body Ethos in Sydney’s Balmain in January 2018. 

According to his Twitter, Adam became a permanent resident of Australia in July, 2019, after 18 months in the country. 

After leaving the United Kingdom, Adam announced his engagement to Alysha Clements in January 2018. 

A Twitter post announcing the happy news reads: ‘She said YES! Happiest man alive! alysha.clements’. 

Links to the Instagram posts showing photos of his engagement have been deleted or made private. 

However, Melbourne fashion designer Alysha Clements is tagged in some of Adam’s Instagram photos, including one taken in Melbourne in January 2018. 

Alysha’s Instagram account is private, however her biography describes her as an ‘Aussie made Australian fashion designer’ who lives between Melbourne, London and Sydney. 

Tellingly, she is also described as a ‘Pilates lover’ and is based in Sydney. 

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Alysha Clements for comment in relation to this story. 

In addition to his dedication to health and fitness, Adam is a dog lover, having adopted his Cavoodle, Luna, in June 2018. 

He appears to be based in Bondi, frequently sharing selfies from his beach-side workouts and swims. 

He’s also a member of the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club. 

In addition to Pilates, Adam is trained in swimming, cycling, boxing, athletics and is a kickboxing Black Belt.  

He offers his customers training in weight loss and nutrition, and is a believer in sacrificing to achieve fitness goals. 

‘Most people want extraordinary results, without putting in extraordinary effort. To achieve such traits, we have to sacrifice, and become consistent in practice,’ he wrote on Instagram recently. 

He added: ‘What are you willing to sacrifice to achieve your fitness, health or personal goals this summer?’ 

On Sunday, Francesca confirmed that she and Adam are a couple in an interview with The Daily Telegraph. 

‘Adam is a really great guy. We’ve been dating for a while,’ she told the paper. 

Over the years the heiress has had relationships with Van Hoorn guitarist Joshua Mullane and Melbourne property developer Kelli Holland. 

Francesca is rumoured to be single following her reported split from Sam Zacharia, the personal trainer son of celebrity plastic surgeon Michael Zacharia, who she was believed to to have been dating since last year. 

However she told Private Sydney: ‘We’re just good friends, in fact he is a very old friend of mine. I promise you there is nothing to announce.’ 

After the alleged split, the brunette is said to have spent a whopping $9,000 on a cavoodle puppy (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross poodle), according to the Sydney Morning Herald.  

The grandaughter of the late Kerry Packer and daughter of Gretel Packer and her ex-husband, English financier Nick Barham, was born in Sydney but spent the first five years of her life in Surrey, England.
