Whitney Way Thore shared the ‘weird and uncomfortable’ news that she has ended her engagement to Chase Severino.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life star chose to announce the melancholy news with a photo of a black screen and detailed caption, which explained Severino is expecting a child with another woman, on Friday.
‘Chase and I are no longer engaged,’ the 36-year-old reality star wrote. ‘After experiencing a lot of ups and downs and still living apart, Chase reconnected with a woman with whom he has had a long history.’

She added that her former fiancé only ‘recently’ shared the news that his relationship ‘resulted in a pregnancy.’
‘Chase will be a father in October,’ the TCL star, who got engaged in October 2019 revealed.

Severino also reported the news on his own Instagram page with a more concise post.
‘I don’t even know where/how to start,’ he shared. ‘I am very excited to announce I am expecting a child in the fall. Please see Whitney’s post for details.
He continued, ‘I have nothing but love and respect for Whitney and our time together. Thank you for always supporting us. As we now go our separate ways, I ask for privacy for Whitney, myself, and the mother of my child who wishes to remain anonymous.’

Severino asked for Whitney’s hand in marriage at the top of the Eiffel Tower, but managed to keep the news under wraps for two months.
