What REALLY happens during MasterChef immunity challenge

MasterChef star reveals what REALLY happens when waiting hours for food to be served during the show’s immunity challenges

Thursday’s episode of MasterChef: Back To Win saw Tracy Collins, Amina Elshafei and Emelia Jackson compete in a sushi train challenge for an immunity pin.

They certainly had their hands full, preparing 100 small snack plates for the judges and their peers in two-and-a-half hours.

And now contestant Khanh Ong has revealed what really happened when waiting for the food to be served on the sushi train.

Revealed: A MasterChef star has revealed what REALLY happened when waiting over two hours for sushi plates to be served during Thursday’s immunity challenge

‘You guys keep asking what we did the whole time we waited… We played Categories, I lost like every round,’ Khanh posted on Twitter during the episode.

Categories is a word game where players are presented with different topics, and are asked to come up with a word that starts with a certain letter.

When asked by a fan whether he ‘took a shot’ every time he lost, Khanh hilariously responded: ‘I took a shot every time anyone lost.’

During Thursday’s episode, judge Jock Zonfrillo announced to Tracy, Amina and Emelia that they had just over two hours to prepare 100 small snack plates.

The dishes were served to Jock’s fellow judges Andy Allen and Melissa Leong, along with the remaining contestants, including Khanh.

It was certainly an important challenge, with one winner awarded the immunity pin, allowing them to be saved from elimination in future episodes.
