Westworld Season 3: Dolores vows to ‘kill everyone’ in action-packed new trailer

HBO dropped a new trailer for their big budget sci-fi series Westworld on Thursday.

The action-packed preview shows even more of the world outside the park, which primarily takes place in near-future Los Angeles.

And it teases a long-awaited showdown between Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Maeve (Thandie Newton).

Stars return: A new trailer for Westworld Season 3 teases a long-awaited showdown between Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood, left) and Maeve (Thandie Newton, right)

The two minute and fifty second long trailer opens with Dolores’ voiceover, as she says, ‘I was born into this world, and my first memories of it are pain.’

The android escaped the theme park at the end of Season 2, and has apparently teamed up with LA construction worker Caleb (Aaron Paul), as she tells him she was ‘never allowed to see your world’.

‘You and I are a lot alike,’ she continues telling the Breaking Bad alum. ‘They put you in a cage, decided what your life would be. They did the same thing to me.’

‘Have you been watching me?’ asks Caleb.

‘Not me,’ replies Dolores, ‘but someone, something, has.’

When he asks who, Dolores replies cryptically that it’s the same person, ‘who took your future.’

Next we see Maeve, believed to be dead at the end of season 2, opening her eyes, before going to meet a new character played by Vincent Cassel.

An action-filled montage then shows such returning characters as Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Charlotte (Tessa Thompson).

Amid explosions, shoot outs and car chases, The Man In Black says ‘I finally understand my purpose… I’m going to save the f**king world.’

‘We do it the old fashioned way,’ replies Dolores. Kill everyone.’
