Wayne Rooney pays sweet tribute to wife Coleen with adorable snap of their boys to mark Mother’s Day

She’s a doting mum to their four boys.

And Wayne Rooney paid tribute to his wife Coleen with a sweet Mother’s Day post shared on Instagram on Sunday.

The footballer, 34, uploaded an adorable snap which saw Coleen, 33, snuggled up with her four sons Kai, 10, Klay, six, Kit, four, and Cass, two.

Coleen flashed a broad smile in the snap as she cuddled two of her boys while the others posed alongside her.

Captioning the family image, Wayne wrote: ‘Happy Mother’s Day @coleen_rooney. Thanks for everything. We love you ❤️’

Coleen also shared the same image on her own Instagram alongside a message that read: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to all the lovely mum’s.’ 

The WAG recently shared a black and white snap on social media, in which she cosied up to her beau and their four young sons.

She captioned the image with a family emoji alongside a love heart.

In the snap, little Kit could be seen planting a big smacker on his mother’s cheek as he placed his arms around her. 

Earlier this month, the couple enjoyed a date night to see Lewis Capaldi perform on stage at the Apollo in Manchester.

The footballer took to Instagram to share a black and white snap of himself and Coleen beaming as they joined the singer, 23, backstage.

Wayne wrote: ‘Unbelievable concert at the Apollo in Manchester. Thanks for a great night @LewisCapaldi.’

Coleen was spotted on a outing Wayne last month as they headed out to pick up some breakfast.

Wayne then shared a sweet photo of the two enjoying a lavish dinner on Valentine’s Day with the caption: ‘Happy Valentines Day @coleen_rooney ❤️ #18years.’

While the couple have taken to Instagram in recent months to mark birthdays and anniversaries, they haven’t been seen out together since last August.
