Wayne Lineker is left red-faced as Curtis Pritchard tells him the girl he likes ‘isn’t feeling it’

Wayne Lineker was left mortified during Tuesday night’s edition of Celebs Go Dating, after being told that the girl he had his eye on ‘wasn’t feeling it’.

Wayne, 58, had shown an initial interest in Carla, who was introduced to the house as a potential suitor for the boys.

After flirting with her at the first mixer of the series, he was seen declaring that he found her the most attractive in a getting-to-know-you session the next day.

But in a chat with Curtis Pritchard, Carla admitted Wayne wasn’t what she was after.

Love Island’s Curtis then took it upon himself to inform Wayne this, who did his best to hide his disappointment.

In brutal scenes, Curtis sat Wayne down and told Gary Lineker’s brother: ‘Yeah, she’s really not feeling it.’

‘Is she not?’ Wayne asked, clearly disappointed.

He had also spoken to another would-be suitor, Hannah, leaving her crestfallen when he admitted earlier in the show that he had his eye on Carla.

Wayne admitted he could at least move on to others, knowing that Carla wasn’t interested in it, but appeared to be saving face.

Fans reacted to this on Twitter, with one remarking: ‘Curtis [is] finishing off Wayne!’

Another fuming fan tweeted: ‘Curtis you’re gossiping! It’s not your place to tell Wayne. You did this in Love Island!’

'Have you got a KNIFE?' Wayne - who has made no secret of his desire to date a woman decades younger than him - perhaps made the wrong impression during the debut episode of the series when he asked Carla if she had a knife

Wayne then began peering around, leaving her to look on, panicked. He eventually explained he wanted to hold up said knife so he could look into it like a mirror.
