WAG Rebecca Judd reveals her chance encounter with Snoop Dogg in Melbourne and why she wants to hire him to promote her label Jaggad

As a prominent Melbourne WAG and media personality, Rebecca Judd has brushed shoulders will plenty of celebrities.

And on Monday, Bec recalled her chance encounter with American rapper Snoop Dogg at the Melbourne Cup more than a decade ago.

Speaking on her 3PM Pick-Up radio show on KIIS FM, the 37-year-old said she got some dance tips from Snoop in an exclusive marquee at the races.

The Drop It Like It’s Hot hit-maker, now 48, visited Australia in 2008 for his ‘The West Coast Originals Tour’.

‘It is the most talked about marquee appearance ever, I think! All he wanted was to rap, and he told everyone dancing in there with a bend in their elbow to use straight arms,’ Bec told co-host Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond.

‘He ordered fried chicken and orange juice – iconic!’ she remembered of the day.

The radio hosts had been discussing Snoop’s [real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr] recent Menulog jingle and advertisement. 

In it he raps about ordering food to ‘the crib’ and his ‘catamaran’ using the popular food delivery service.

Bec joked: ‘If you’re a brand, and you want your brand to be cool – you just hire Snoop Dogg! We’re going to hire him for Jaggad.’

Monty laughed, adding: ‘Cheeky couple of million to get him into some leggings.’

Bec owns activewear label Jaggad with AFL star husband Chris Judd and his ex football playing pal Steven Greene.
