The Bachelor offered viewers plenty of drama on Thursday night. 

But while Nicole pined over not getting a rose from hunky Locky Gilbert after their date – it was the product placement that captured viewers’ attention. 

Twitter erupted with viewers slamming the show for its in-your-face endorsement of ready-made meal company, YouFoodz.

The scene opened with a shot of the easy-to-eat microwavable meals which were sitting on the kitchen bench. 

Areeba Emmanuel ate from the container as she stirred Nicole Campbell after she admitted she had not gotten a rose from her single date. 

‘I think that Roxi and Locky might kiss tonight. I would not be surprised if she comes back with the rose,’ Areeba said. 

Nicole became visibly upset as Areeba teased her in order to undermine her connection with Locky.

The girls then mentioned how delicious their YouFoodz meals were, as the camera panned over what they were eating. 

Fans offered a number of snarky comments after the scenes aired.
