Kristin Cavallari shared the real story behind her marriage to Jay Cutler before going camping with him on Thursday’s episode of Very Cavallari.
The 33-year-old reality star opened up about her history with Jay, 36, while talking to her friend Justin Anderson who was feeling marriage pressure from his boyfriend Austin Rhodes aka Scoot.
‘How did you know when it was right?,’ Justin asked her.

‘So I met Jay when I was 23. I was a f***ing baby, but he told me he loved me after two months, and then he proposed after eight months, and it all just moved so fast,’ Kristin said.
‘And then I remember I just all of a sudden was like, this isn’t right. Like, there are certain things in our relationship that needed to change, and I was just, like, I don’t know that this is what I want,’ she revealed.
Kristin said she wasn’t sure marriage was for her and mentioned that her parents were divorced.
‘I remember we were in L.A. and I gave him back this ring,’ Kristin said pointing to her finger.

‘And I watched him walk out the door and ended up really missing him, and then we got back together,’ she told Justin.
‘And then I get pregnant with Camden, and that’s when I really changed how I felt about marriage. …That’s when we got married and I’m so happy that I did,’ said Kristin who has three children with Jay.
‘I love that,’ Justin said.

‘Marriage is hard f***ing work, but it’s so worth it. But you have to come to that conclusion on your own, it can’t be because someone is making you,’ Kristin advised Justin.
Jay earlier in the episode suggested they go camping after Kristin thanked him for his recent support going to Chicago and Los Angeles with her.
Kristin embarked on the camping trip after being upset with her employee Brittainy Taylor for failing to update her Uncommon James site with sale items.

They were joined on the camping trip by Jay’s best friend Chuy, Justin, Scoot and Kristin’s good friend Stephanie Biegel aka Biegs.
The group took canoe rides together and former NFL quarterback Jay paced him and Kristin to victory.
Jay fumbled his cell phone into the water, but handled it in stride.

Kristin after the trip had a meeting with Brittainy to find out what happened over the sales page problem.
She felt that Brittainy was lying to her, but Brittainy said it was an unintentional oversight.
Kristin said that she needed her to ‘show up’ and Brittainy promised it wouldn’t happen again.

Justin and Scoot also talked about their relationship status.
Scoot smiled as Justin assured him that he wanted to be with him ‘forever’ and was thinking about marriage.
Kristin called her father Dennis as she continued reaching out to him after growing distant following the 2015 death of her brother Michael.

She told her father that her genealogist in Italy named Fabio had found more members of the Cavallari family.
Dennis said they should think about going and Kristin despite some reservations decided they should go to Italy.
‘I’ll start packing,’ Jay volunteered.
