Vanessa Hudgens tells fans she’ ‘putting on fake tats’ as she continues coronavirus lockdown

‘Putting on fake tats’: Vanessa Hudgens gives fans update on how she’s coping with coronavirus lockdown

It’s been four weeks since California Governor Gavin Newsom ordered residents to stay at home due to the coronavirus pandemic.

And it seems that self-isolation is wearing a little thin for Vanessa Hudgens.

The 31-year-old posted to her Instagram Story on Wednesday that she was ‘wearing my hair in pigtails and putting on fake tats. I feel like I’m 8 again lol lock down mode.’

At home: Vanessa Hudgens gave an update Wednesday on how she’s coping with self-isolation a month after California went into lockdown and shared this selfie to her Instagram Story

She shared a closeup image of her shoulder on which she had written in cursive ‘It was her chaos that made her beautiful’.

It’s a quote, spoken by Atticus Finch, taken from Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird.

Hudgens also shared a selfie in which she’s seen looking directly into the camera with her hair piled high on top of her head and with poppy and bee filters across her face.

Last month, Hudgens made headlines for all the wrong reasons when she questioned the wisdom of shutting down all but essential businesses and insisting on social distancing as a way of curbing the spread of COVID-19.

In an Instagram Live session, she said: ‘It’s a virus, I get it, I respect it, but at the same time, even if everybody gets it, like, yeah, people are going to die, which is terrible, but like … inevitable?’

She later walked back her remarks after being slammed by fans and fellow celebrities who criticized her for being short-sighted and irresponsible.

She claimed her comments had been taken ‘out of context’ and added: ”It’s a crazy time… I don’t take this situation lightly by any means. I am home. So stay inside, y’all.’

She also apologized for her ‘insensitive’ words and acknowledged they had been ‘inappropriate.’
