And on Friday Ulrika Jonsson was celebrating as she reached 80k followers on the social media platform.
The TV star, 52, marked the milestone with a selfie from bed as she declared it was time to toast her new follower count with her favourite tipple.

Sharing a snap of herself bare-faced, Ulrika wrote: ‘Woke up to 80 FOUSAND FOLLOWERS. I thank you, most humbly. This calls for Rum.’
On Thursday Ulrika enjoyed the spoils of the British heatwave, shortly after discussing her dangerous addiction to the sun.
The TV veteran, 52, took to Instagram to share a series of snaps including a selfie and a racy shot of her bottom as she soaked up the 92F heat.
Detailing her day, she added a caption reading: ‘Bla, bla, scrawny neck, sunburn, bla, bla.. Sun’s out; old woman’s bum out. Laundered; nagged; didn’t raise my voice. Much. Drank Rum because I’m basically a pirate now.’

Earlier this month, Ulrika admitted that when she moved from her native Sweden to the UK in 1979 she was stunned at ‘pale, colourless, doughy and pasty’ Brits and has proudly professed she has always exposed her children’s skin to the sun.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: ‘My drug of choice is the sun and as I’ve lived by the sword, I shall, no doubt, die by it — as long as it’s in the sun.’
Ulrika spoke candidly in her new column about her unapologetic addiction despite admitting it can be damaging to the skin to soak up the sun.
The star said she has come under fire from people judging her sunbathing habit who say she will prematurely age and harm her skin.
But the presenter said the sun is in her DNA as a daylight-deprived Swede and has always been envious of those with glowing tans.

She even admitted she doesn’t mind if she ends up looking like Sheila Reid’s character Madge Harvey in Benidorm.
The 82-year-old is known for her comically dark tan in the hit ITV comedy.
Ulrika said: ‘Fortunately for me, I tan easily, go a dark brown and I have no qualms about accepting that I look like Madge Harvey in Benidorm (OK, possibly a bit older).’
The former Gladiators star said sunbathing ages her, just as having four ‘ungrateful’ children does.
And she admits she doesn’t look like to lather her children in suncream, instead placing them in the shade for much of the day and adjusting them to the sun gradually.
