Tyra Banks reveals the Australian treat she’s obsessed with as she gives Jackie ‘O’ dating advice

American television personality Tyra Banks revealed that one of her favourite snacks in the world is an Australian treat.

Speaking to The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday, Tyra, 46, recalled her previous trip to Australia and said she was a fan of Australian ice cream chain, Gelato Messina.

‘The last time I went to Australia, for the finale of Australia’s Next Top Model, five years ago, it was around my birthday,’ she said.

‘I love ice-cream and I was asking everybody in Sydney, where I find good ice cream,’ continued Tyra, who was on the show to promote her latest venture, Modelland.  

The popular television personality went on to tell Kyle and Jackie, 45, that she was overjoyed when she discovered popular ice cream spot, Gelato Messina.

And five years later, she still hasn’t been able to forget the taste.

After the radio duo confessed to being fans of the popular ice cream chain, Kyle, 48,  then suggested that the model should open her own store. 

‘We are going to have ice cream in Modelland, not immediately, but we will have some Smize ice cream’, she responded.

Gelato Messina is known for its array of flavours, including peanut butter and caramel, burnt vanilla, mango cheesecake and red velvet. 

Elsewhere in the interview, Tyra gave Jackie some dating advice. 

‘I always say when you start dating: don’t fish, throw the net [and] date more than one person at a time,’ she told the radio star.

To which Jackie replied: ‘That sounds really exhausting’.  

Tyra was on The Kyle and Jackie O Show to promote Modelland, a new attraction that allow fans of fashion to experience the glamour of photoshoots and runways.

It will open in Santa Monica in the U.S. on May 1.
