Travis Scott shows off snowboarding skills with Shaun White in Aspen… and returns with crew to LA

Travis Scott only took up snowboarding about a month ago, and he already looks like he’s on a mission to master some of the slick tricks of the trade.

And what better way to cut down the learning curve than to hit the mountains of Aspen, Colorado with three-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Shaun White.

The X-Games legend was by his side over the weekend, showing him some of helpful tips and maneuvers, when the Grammy-winning rapper pulled off his first trick on the slopes, which hyped Scott up with enthusiasm after he made his smooth landing.

Dressed in traditional ski and snowboarding garb of black pants and a blue jacket, Scott can be seen in an Instagram video, approaching the starting point with several of his crew looking on.

The Texas native, 28, then made his way to White, who gave him an encouraging fist-bump, before he headed downhill.

Initially, Scott rode straight down towards a relatively modest ramp made of snow, that’s elevated just a few inches.

The Grammy-nominated rapper then shifted his board, ever-so-slightly, and began to slide down a longer box ramp until his dismount, a few feet into the air, which he landed nearly perfect, with his arms spread out to help with his balance.

By the end of the weekend, Scott and his crew hopped on to a private plane and headed back to Los Angeles, where they were seen moments after landing.

For the trip back he wore a brown hoodie, multi colored pants and black skateboarding sneakers.

It turns out Scott was joined by fellow rapper Don Toliver, who enjoyed a smoke after touching down at the airport in Southern California.

In another Instagram post from their weekend in Colorado, Scott showed much respect for White.

‘Went ham on the mountain today with one of my favorite humans ever,’ he said of the snowboard champion, before adding, ‘Taught me some s**t today love ya gang.’
