Timm Hanly raises eyebrows while wearing socks and sandals on Bachelor in Paradise

He’s the tattooed larrikin whose long, shaggy locks made viewers swoon when he debuted on The Bachelorette last year.

But on Tuesday, Timm Hanly raised eyebrows with his footwear of choice on Bachelor in Paradise.

The usually cool reality star decided to wear white socks with brown sandals while paddleboarding, leaving many viewers at home feeling mixed emotions.

‘I’m sorry but I can’t ever get over Timm wearing socks with sandals and then fully immersing them in the ocean, who does that?’ one person wrote.

A second tweeted: ‘Timm with those socks and sandals on a paddleboard. What even is this? But i’m digging it,’ along with a laughing emoji. 

‘There’s nothing sexier than a man paddle boarding in socks and sandals,’ joked a third.

Last week, Timm left fans shocked when he unveiled his new ’80s-inspired haircut, complete with a thick fringe. 

He beamed from the salon chair as he shook out his fluffy, curly mane and fringe.

‘Best cut I’ve ever had,’ he captioned the post, without a hint of irony. Timm went on to share his thoughts on his bouffant-looking hairstyle. 

‘Feast your eyes up on this. Combination with the moustache,’ he said, proudly.

Later, Timm uploaded an Instagram poll asking his 152,000 followers what they thought of the fringe.

Unfortunately for Timm, 55 per cent of his fans said they weren’t ‘vibing’ it.
