She is set to reprise her role as Nebula in Thor: Love and Thunder.
And on Monday, Karen Gillan was spotted on the set of the upcoming Marvel blockbuster at Centennial Park in Sydney.
The Scottish actress, 33, looked unrecognisable as she emerged from her trailer wearing colourful face makeup.

Karen’s swapped her red hair for a bald cap with an intricate metallic feature on the left side of her face.
Her hand, chest and face were painted blue, and she had a purple stripe down the centre of her face and a red strip on one side.
The Jumanji star wore a black singlet and a navy polka-dot robe as she strolled over to the wardrobe department.

Karen had a serious expression on her face as she left the trailer carrying a Marvel-branded cardboard box, a phone and a drink.
An unidentified man, is presumably one of Karen’s co-stars, was smoking a cigarette outside the trailers in full blue body and face paint.
Thor: Love and Thunder will be the fifth time Karen has portrayed the character of Nebula.
She previously starred in both Guardians of the Galaxy films, as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Last month, Karen revealed she had cut her long red locks in preparation for the role.
Taking part in an Instagram challenge that involves followers making assumptions about celebrities, one fan guessed she was wearing a wig for Thor: Love and Thunder.
Karen revealed she had actually cut her hair short recently in order to fit it inside the bald cap she wears as Nebula.
Costume requirements: Gillan commented in an Instagram story that she had cut her locks so ‘that we don’t have to get so much hair into the bald cap’; she is pictured at the 2020 premiere of The Call of the Wild
‘I cut it the other day in preparation for Nebula, so that we don’t have to get so much hair into the bald cap because I have so much hair, it’s unbelievable. It’s just so thick,’ she said.
The upcoming film stars Chris Hemsworth as hammer-wielding Norse god Thor, alongside Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman.
The plot follows Tessa’s character, Valkyrie, as she searches for a queen to rule over Asgard with.
