Samantha Morton has revealed she was rushed to hospital with a medical emergency on Monday night.

The actress, 43, took to Twitter to post a snap of her mask-covered in a hospital ward, praising NHS staff for taking such good care of her.

While Samantha did not disclose why she was admitted, she later reassured fans she was ‘on the mend.’

Late Monday night, Samantha posted: ‘Thank you to all the A and E staff at the Conquest who helped me tonight. 

‘I’m so grateful for our NHS,to see the red zone first hand and the nurses and doctors being so kind and wonderful to us all was humbling. I’m ok tonight because of them.’
