‘The true queen!’ Angela Clancy emerges as favourite to win Big Brother

Angela Clancy is becoming the favourite to take home the $250,000 cash prize on Big Brother Australia.

The 38-year-old has proved to be fierce competition on the reality show, and Monday night’s challenge was no exception.

In a challenge, Angela used her hands and fingers to stop water from draining from a funnel above her head for six hours and 41 minutes.

Big Brother said housemates were allowed to leave their post at any time, but the water would completely drain after five minutes of being left uncovered.

Angela proved her staying power, and put Danni Keogh, Garth Saville and Zoe George up for eviction.

It comes after the 38-year-old won Sunday night’s challenge and put ‘mean girl’ Talia Rycroft up for eviction.

Fans flocked to Twitter to praise Angela’s ability to win two of the show’s challenges, with one writing: ‘Wow, that was awesome Angela.’

‘Angela winning her second competition in a ROW, they underestimated this queen,’ another tweeted.

‘The true Queen! ANGIE THE ABSOLUTE SOLDIER,’ one person wrote. ‘Angela! What a mentally strong woman,’ another agreed.

One person tweeted: ‘The Queen reigns in the rain’.

‘Angela is the most determined person ever, I genuinely aspire to be like her,’ another wrote.

One said: ‘I didn’t like Angela at the start but I’ve grown to love her and love who she decides to nominate.’
