Barbara Martin, one of the original vocalists for The Supremes, has died at 76.

Martin was a member of the singing group from 1960 to 1962, replacing founding member Betty McGlown, joining the group when they were still named The Primettes.

During her time with The Supremes, the then-quartet signed with Motown records.

But Martin left the group in 1962, reportedly after getting pregnant. The Diana Ross-fronted musical act went on as a trio in coming years.
