Food delivery services such as Menulog, Uber Eats and Deliveroo aren’t short of A-List celebrities to advertise their service – but it will cost them. 

Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Boy George and Ryan Kwantan are just a few of the celebrities who have advertised Uber Eats. 

And now, Snoop Dog is getting in on the action appearing in a recent ad for MenuLog.

The new ad features a jingle written by the American rapper, who performs alongside a table filled with burgers and waffles. 

Snoop Dog said of the song: ‘People said it could never be done – a Menulog track that you can get down to.’ 

‘The original was a great track but it’s had its run, it needed to upgrade. That’s why they brought me in, to put some spice on it.’ 

But how much do these celebrities actually earn for appearing in these ads?

Speaking on the Today show on Friday, Creative Director of Campaign Edge, Dee Madigan revealed that it is likely Snoop Dog earnt more than $1 million or more for the ad. 

‘He would have been on I reckon close to a million dollars,’ she said. 

‘Then you’ve got your spots your buying on TV and the production of it, so well over a million dollars for this campaign.’

With an estimated pay packet of $1 million it’s no surprise that so many high profile celebrities are jumping on the band wagon. 

And, it’s not just ads where the celebrities can rake in the cash, A-list stars are also thought to be making extra cash with sponsored Instagram posts.

Celebrities can command huge figures for beaming brands and products to their millions of followers.

According to Fox Business  stars such as Kylie Jenner, singer, Ariana Grande and soccer star, Cristiano Ronaldo all make close to $1 million per sponsored Instagram post.
