The Project: Rachel Corbett’s stunning glow-up revealed in Big Brother throwbacks

Rachel Corbett’s glamorous transformation: How the TV host went from being a daggy Big Brother star to a glamorous panellist on The Project

She was the first ever ‘intruder’ on the first season of Big Brother Australia in 2001.

But a lot has changed for Rachel Corbett since then, as she is now a regular panellist on The Project as well as a popular podcaster.

Rachel entered the Big Brother house at the age of 19, when she was studying law at university.

But her reality TV career was short-lived as she became the second contestant to be voted off just four days later.

Despite this early setback, Rachel went on to launch a media career, co-hosting The Morning Madhouse radio show on Triple M.

She then presented several other radio programs, including the Hot30 Countdown on 2Day FM and Nova FM’s summer season.

In 2014, Rachel began her foray into television, appearing as a guest on Studio 10, Have You Been Paying Attention? and Paul Murray Live.

She then started work on Channel 10’s The Project, where she is now employed as a regular panellist.

In an interview in 2009, Rachel admitted she was trying to distance herself from her reality TV past to further her career in TV and radio.

‘It’s part of my past that I’ve tried to distance myself from and have so far succeeded,’ she told Radio Info.

Rachel also said she knew she didn’t want to continue studying law after leaving the Big Brother house.

‘I never for one moment thought about a career in entertainment either, I just knew I wanted to get out of law,’ she said.
