The Masked Singer Australia has revealed the third character set to appear on the forthcoming season.
The Echidna made its debut during ad breaks for Bachelor in Paradise on Wednesday night.
But fans weren’t impressed by the latest reveal, rushing to social media to label the costume ‘disappointing’ and ‘scary’.

Although the elaborate headdress featured long spikes protruding from the mask, what lay underneath was nothing but a simple red T-shirt and black leather jacket.
But perhaps the most off-putting feature was the creature’s face itself, which featured creepy eyes.

In the footage, a muscular physique strutted down the purple carpet runway, donning leather pants that appeared to have body armour similar to motorbike protective gear.
